Meet Norton Gregory
Norton Gregory
NMLS #2475758
Loan Officer
Norton has devoted himself to enriching the lives of others. Before joining the mortgage industry, he helped families secure affordable housing as a director for a local housing authority. He is also actively involved in the community, with a long legacy of serving in volunteer and leadership roles for non-profits and area business advisory boards. In all that he does, Norton's passion to serve Alaskans shines through!
"As a life-long resident of our great state, it's a privilege to give back in any way I can to our community," says Norton. "That's why I'm so excited to be a part of the Cornerstone Home Lending family. Cornerstone's mission aligns perfectly with mine: To make a positive difference in the lives of others."
Norton was also inspired to join Cornerstone after working with one of our own for an investment property purchase. "Nancy Hudson from the Juneau office was my loan officer, and I loved her unwavering 'get-the-job-done-right' attitude," he recalls. "The experience I had with Nancy encouraged me to dive into mortgage lending."
Born in Anchorage and raised in Kake, Norton has lived in Juneau for most of his life. After attending the University of Southeast, he worked in the insurance industry for 8 years before starting a 13-year tenure with the Tlingit Haida Regional Housing Authority. Norton currently serves on the board for Eaglecrest, the City and Borough of Juneau community owned ski area, which oversees the management and operation of Southeast Alaska's winter playground.
Never one to remain idle for too long, Norton stays busy outside of work and volunteer commitments with DIY renovation projects. He is also an all-weather outdoor enthusiast and enjoys running, hiking, camping, and skiing.
