I’ve been living and breathing mortgage lending for 20+ years. My family always owned rental properties and I spent long hours working side by side with them fixing up and maintaining their properties.

Once I was able, I started acquiring my own rental properties and from those early days I decided I needed to understand mortgage financing for myself! And from that sprung my career. I am totally engaged and get excited to hear about all the “what ifs” that come with owning your personal home or multiple properties. The home appreciation that you earn when owning is (in my humble opinion) the most amazing way to achieve financial independence. A small condo I purchased 20 years ago for $140,000, currently has a market value is $455,000...it has more than tripled in value.
