Arshia Mashayekhi

Arshia offers first-class lending solutions to meet a variety of needs – from first-time home purchases and refinances to real estate investments. Backed by an in-house operations team, he personally manages the loan transaction from start to finish.

With his clear guidance and proactive updates, customers know all their options and exactly where they are in the process. Plus, Arshia stays up-to-date on the latest loan programs and offers immediate insight into today’s mortgage market.

Since joining the industry in 2013, Arshia has grown a thriving career focused on integrity, stellar service, and honest hard work. He offers extensive experience in financial services, insurance, branch management, and loan origination. Working alongside his brother, Aryan, he helped develop a high-production residential lending team that funded $75 million in their second year. Arshia has also worked closely with real estate agents to grow their marketing exposure and build more business.

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Arshia currently lives in Culver City. When he’s not in the office, you’ll often find him at the gym and at competitive bodybuilding events. Arshia is also devoted to his wonderful family and friends.

Aryan Mashayekhi

After working as a corporate pilot and successfully managing an aviation business, Aryan accidentally fell into the mortgage industry in 2013. He had a number of clients in the mortgage industry which piqued his fascination with working in the financial sector. The right opportunity presented itself and he packed up his home in Utah and moved to Los Angeles. He worked on a high production team with his brother for 2 years until he was provided the opportunity to open his own branch in Santa Monica. He discovered his passion lies in wealth creation and growth for his clients; with the ultimate focus of guiding families on the path to homeownership. He strives to help families learn how to use it as a tool towards achieving financial independence. This focus has allowed him and his brother to provide the maximum value possible for their clients in the highly competitive Los Angeles market. He is grateful to be able to work in a profession that allows him to serve the community along with spend his workdays with his wife and brother.

Outside of work, his passions are aerobatic flying, surfing, music, classic cars, and spending time with his family.

David Gallo

Before joining Cornerstone, David launched his career in finance with Wells Fargo. After being introduced to home lending by his mentor and learning about the industry, he was hooked. Serving others has always been a priority for David and having the opportunity to do that every day is why he loves what he does. He finds helping homebuyers navigate the biggest purchase of their lives incredibly rewarding and enjoys being responsible for successful outcomes.

Since making the leap to the mortgage industry in 2019, David has worked alongside some of the best in the industry, allowing him to grow professionally and hone his skills. With compassion, drive, and the determination to do what’s right for his clients, he works closely with his team to provide guidance and support from the first contact to the closing table.

Born and raised in Whittier, California, David has called it home for all his life. When he’s not working, he enjoys traveling, going to sports games, and visiting national parks. You might catch him at a rock concert from time to time.

Anna Mashayekhi

Anna has been in the lending industry for about 20 years. She started out as an underwriter which she was working full time for a few years. After working as an underwriter she dipped her toes into secondary marketing for another two years. Then she’s slowly worked her way into quality control to help extend her knowledge. Since then she has been a full fledged processor and received a promotion to processing manager in 2016. In January of 2022, she has now been promoted to the loan analyst position where she helps both Aryan and Arshia fully approve their clients files in order to write competitive offers in the market place.

Some of the things she loves doing is spending time with both of her daughters and her loving husband Aryan. She really enjoys going shopping, visiting her family, and spending the day at Disneyland.

Nora Simon

Processor

Nora Simon is originally from Greenbelt, MD, a small town on the outskirts of Washington, DC. She attended art school in Savannah, GA, and then Lancaster, PA where she graduated with a degree in Graphic Design. After returning to her hometown and immersing herself into the design field, Nora decided to pursue a different path that led to working as an assistant manager of one of D.C.’s most beloved historic bookstores. Aside from her interests in art and literature, Nora has always been an avid traveler and explorer. She had always dreamed of living on the west coast, so in 2018 she packed up her belongings and made the cross country trip with her boyfriend. The pair found themselves in Venice, where they still live today. Nora needed a new job, and taking a chance at something completely different, she decided to jump into the mortgage industry. After working her way up she is now processing loans for Cornerstone. In her free time, Nora enjoys traveling, making art, reading, and pursuing a new interest: mortgages and real estate.

Aja Lee

Aja was originally from Los Angeles, California, where she was born and raised into a family with a whopping 9 siblings. Seven older and two younger. Currently, she is pursuing a degree in psychology to become a clinical psychologist as well as obtain a real estate license. She enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with my loved ones and her 5 year old Siberian husky whenever the opportunity is presented. Initially, she can come off as shy and soft-spoken, but she is the easiest person to talk to. When she’s not working, you can catch me at the beach soaking in the sun on a beach cruiser or painting the sunset.
