On a personal note, I was raised in Roosevelt, Long Island, and spent my teen years in Brooklyn, New York. However, I have been calling San Antonio my home since 1984. I have four wonderful children: Everett II, a U.S. Marine Veteran and US Army Reservist in nursing with two children of his own; Aizha, an RN at Phoenixville Hospital in Philadelphia and mother of my first two awesome grandsons; Lyndsay, a BSN RN CPN at Methodist Hospital; and my youngest Kyle, a US Army Reservist and Texas State University ROTC student. I have been happily married since 1994 to my lovely wife, Donna, who has a UTSA Master's Degree in Counseling and is a full-time mom, using all her talents to manage our family.

My assistant Carmen Estrada was born and raised in Eagle Pass, Texas. She and I have been a team for over 9 years. Carmen has two sons of her own, as well as a grandson and a granddaughter on the way. Her son Lenny is a window frame installer with McCoy’s and her son Kenny is a soil conservationist and part-time professional photographer. Carmen is extremely dedicated and very friendly, which makes her a pleasure to work with. She will assist you and your assigned processor throughout your entire loan process.

Prior to my mortgage career, I was in the US Air Force for 4 years and then worked in the automotive customer service industry for over 17 years. I understand how important it is to make a commitment and keep it. I am a true believer that it is better to under-commit and overachieve, than it is to overcommit and under-achieve.

I have received many awards and certificates for sales and customer satisfaction over the years. For 8 years, and again in 2020, I was a member of the Top Producer President’s Club of Cornerstone Home Lending (the parent company of Crestmark Mortgage). When I am not helping clients, I can be found with my family at our Perry Home in the Johnson Ranch Bulverde Community.
