There are three main misconceptions when it comes to the home loan process. The first is that it is very hard and this is just not true. Our goal is to guide our customers through the process to them information so there is no uncertainty and also make buying a home as stress free as possible. Another misconception is that a big down payment is required to buy a home. Many people who don’t have a lot of money to put down are surprised to discover that home ownership is still an option. Finally, there is often the belief that perfect credit is required to buy a home. Credit has opened up since 2008 so there are a lot of loan programs for borrowers with lower credit. In addition, we have the ability to determine ways to sometimes improve our clients which can help as well.
