Khrystia Waibel

Khrystia Waibel's career in home lending began with a personal mission. After seeing close friends face challenges during their mortgage journey, she knew she could provide a better, more transparent experience. That drive led Khrystia to join the industry, where she's built a 27-year career focused on honesty, integrity, and a genuine dedication to her clients. Her goal is simple: to make sure every homebuyer feels supported, informed, and confident during one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.

Raised on a sprawling 965-acre farm in Oregon and the 9th of 10 children, Khrystia grew up with strong values centered on family, community, and hard work. These values fuel her passion for helping her clients achieve their dream of homeownership. Her commitment to serve fits perfectly with Cornerstone's mission of making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Khrystia attended Oregon State University on a volleyball scholarship, where she earned a degree in accounting and computer science. After spending several years in Sweden, she returned to Oregon and worked in the tech industry before starting her mortgage career in 1997. Married for over 30 years, Khrystia and her husband owned and operated their own farm before selling it in 2020. Now, they live in a lakefront home on Hayden Lake in Northern Idaho. Outside of work, Khrystia enjoys boating, cooking classes, wine tasting, and teaching canning classes.
