Karen Appling

Karen Appling believes that choosing the right lender is just as important as choosing the right home. Professional, efficient, and always available for any questions, she prides herself on taking the time to understand each client’s unique needs and goals, so that they can work hand-in-hand together in finding the right financing option for them. With over 15 years of industry experience, she is dedicated to tailoring her in-depth knowledge in order to provide an exceptional home loan experience.

Karen received her BBA in Finance from Angelo State University, where she graduated with the highest GPA in the Business School graduating class. With a background in real estate, mortgage lending, and as an escrow officer, she has a comprehensive understanding of all sides of the home-financing process. And as a lifelong local, born and raised in Sweetwater, she is proud to serve her community’s homebuying needs and to play a role in helping others achieve the dream of homeownership.

Outside of the office, Karen loves spending time with her husband, Clint, and their two children, Caden and Kamryn. They keep busy attending events for their kids, while Karen also loves being involved in local organizations, such as being an active committee member of the Cub Scouts and Rotary Club.
